Les produits Centaure sont diffusés par deux grands types de réseau pour répondre aux besoins des professionnels et des particuliers. Il s’agit du réseau professionnel et du réseau de distribution grand public. Le réseau de distribution professionnel regroupe différents types d’intermédiaires composés de grossistes, quincailleries, négoces matériaux, fournitures industrielles, peinture, VPC, etc. Quant à la distribution grand public, elle regroupe les grandes surfaces de bricolage, grandes surfaces de jardinage ou encore les grandes surfaces alimentaires ainsi que les sites de e-commerces généralistes ou spécialisés.

A l’étranger
Centaure réalise plus de 20% de son chiffre d’affaires à l’export dans plus de 30 pays. Sa présence industrielle et commerciale en Europe Centrale avec l’usine de Székesfehérvar (Hongrie) et en Europe de l’Est avec un site de production près de Moscou, en Russie, représente un atout majeur pour la distribution de ses produits via les réseaux professionnels ou grand public sur l’ensemble du Vieux Continent. De même, Centaure développe de jour en jour des alliances stratégiques avec de nombreux distributeurs au Moyen-Orient, en Afrique de l’Ouest et également au Maghreb.

    In 1950 starts the production of aluminium ladders, totally hand manufactured. The necessity to automate this production soon becomes an evidence to Léon Gubri who works on a project of mechanised assembly process.

    Success has shown up and soon the factories cannot face this growing demand. In the early 60’, Léon Gubri decides to reorganise his company. He divides it into 3 entities and moves all his workshops to Romilly-sur-Andelle.

    1984 is marked by a great change in Centaure’ s history: Léon Gubri passes on the lead to his son, Michel, who will manage the company for 5 years. This is a period of full growth due to a promising market.

    In 2000 Christophe Vinsonneau and Patrick Wuillai acquire the company and start building new development strategies focused on quality, innovation and international expansion.
